Family Tree Maker User Group

There are many reasons to have a stand-alone genealogy software program on your home computer, laptop or similar personal device. FTM is a powerful software program used by many genealogists to record, organize and, publish the details of their family history.

Established in 2015, the FTM User Group explores the many features that Family Tree Maker provides and how to use them effectively. We help attendees learn "how to" accomplish tasks they want to complete and often show them more than one way to reach that goal. Sessions often consist of folks at various skill levels, including those just considering purchasing a software program, to those that have many years of experience. We work together to support everyone that attends, regardless of their experience.

Our sessions are informal, meet 5-6 times per year via Zoom, and often include discussion of various genealogical topics members want help with.

Facilitator is Bob McQuistan.
